French Tiara Comb with Pearls Fire Opal Measurements: The drop measures 5A French silver gilt tiara set with blown pearls, circa 1870. Formed as a gently curved band, it features openwork scrolling foliate decoration with rows of graduated blown pearls along the upper edge and smaller pearls set within the design. The silver framework is fully gilt, giving a warm tone that complements the soft lustre of the pearls.
