
Ford is gradually releasing a series of videos via Youtube, showcasing the T6 Ranger's capability. A few months ago, we have seen the video of the Ranger pulling a steam engine locomotive train. Now, Ford has released another video supporting Ford's claim that the new T5 generation Ranger has the best in class water wading capability; 800mm deep. In comparison, the Toyota Hilux, the de-facto best selling truck in the segment has a maximum water wading depth of 700mm.

Below is an earlier video, showcasing a standard specs 3.2-liter 200bhp power and 470Nm torque 5-cylinder Ranger pulling a 160 tonne R711 locomotive. The locomotive was first put in service in 1951 by the North British Locomotive Company in Glasgow. The train was in service for 14 years before retiring.
