Recently, students at the University of California San Diego had field day snapping undisguised pre-production model of the A5 Sportback, purportedly doing a photo shoot at the campus ground in front of the university's new music building.
The A5 Sportback will be launched in Europe in September 2009, where it will go head to head with BMW's recently unveiled 5-series Gran Turismo. On paper (or should I say "screen?"), it is obvious which is the prettier looking car. But to be fair, BMW might counter with a more accommodating rear headroom space and like all of BMW's recent designs, you have to see them in real sheet metal to appreciate it.
But still...damn that thing looks really beautiful. So what if it is FWD / AWD? Big deal. Grow up and stop looking for a chance to powerslide and counter steer at every corner. For more details and pictures, visit Fourtitude.com.
