Just another quiet day out for a mother and son pair. No biggie, just doing some practice runs on the family's Evo II rally car on Finnish snow covered ground. Note the boy's discipline in adopting all the correct seating positions and the way he push and pull the wheel, keeping them at 9' and 3' o'clock. The young 11-year old boy has not been corrupted by any of the bad habits most of you have.
Not much is known about him, other than his family; the Van den Heuvel family runs a rally school and rally team under the name V.D. Heuvel Motorsports in Netherlands.
Not sure what's their business in Finland but it is quite normal for Finnish boys and girls to drive tractors as young as 6, and then start driving farm trucks and cars as soon as they are able to reach the pedals. In rural Finland, there is not much to do...Top Gear Season 12 episode 3 did some coverage on the Finnish rally culture and their high standards of driving. It was one of the more informative episodes by the 3 stooges.

The national sport for Finland is not soccer / football, but some demolition derby kind of racing involving banged up old cars called Jokamiesluokka. Almost everyone from grandmas to housewifes and schoolgirls on holidays compete in it. It's even a village's social event there!
