3rd gen Prius start-up screen?

Is this the start-up screen for the 3rd gen Prius Multi Function Display?


Well according to the boys at PriusChat forums, it is. Earlier we have already seen some spyshots on the interior of the next gen Prius.

Somebody in Toyota is gona get poo-pooed for this. The standard operating procedure for driving development mules / prototype vehicles out in the open is that the car must NEVER be stationary unless under extremely dangerous situations. If the car has to stop, the vehicle must be covered. Leaving the interior of the vehicle exposed in full view is a definite no no. At the very least the steering wheel wheel and dashboard must be covered.

Arch rival Honda did not release any close-up shots of the Insight 2's multi-function display unit. The closest that we have is the image below.

We will need to wait until this coming January's Detroit Motor Show, where the next Prius will debut, to confirm if this is in fact the real deal.
