A follow-up of an earlier entry on the debut of the new Mazda 3. I came across more pictures of the new 3. Mazda has so far only released 3 official photos of the car. We have not seen the interior of the car yet. I stumbled upon these shots at German site spiegel.de, via AutoInCar
Damn that thing looks like a real cockpit. I liked the way everything is angled towards the driver, just like BMWs of old. Well the boys at Munich don't built cockpits like these anymore, but the good news is the new boys at Hiroshima are doing a bloody good job stepping into the gap. Don't you just love the twin cowled instrument binacles and the way the twin tier displays are arranged. I suppose all the primary information that the driver needs, i.e. vehicle speed and fuel and trip computer will be arranged at the upper level where it is closer to the driver's line of sight.
